Timrå passes Frölunda in the SHL – Rönnberg: ‘Not wise’

Frölunda had only conceded two goals in the last four matches.

Timra touched that number after just seven minutes:

– It is not wise how we play badly. It’s surprisingly bad and interesting, Frölunda coach Roger Ronberg tells C More.

Two of the most iconic teams in the series meet in Timra. The home team has come up with four wins in their last five matches and Fro Londa has four straight wins.

The visitors have also conceded only two goals in the last four matches.

Now, it only took Timra seven minutes to score twice and five minutes into the middle of the period Albin Lundin put it up 3-0 as well.

After six consecutive matches for Lasse Johansson, in which the Frölunda goalkeeper conceded just six goals, Roger Rönnberg opted to put Frederic Deschaux in goal.

The Dane had a very difficult night and was substituted after Lundin’s goal midway through the period.

“I feel like we’re all over the place.”

It took only 60 seconds before the puck was in the goal behind Deschu.

Jonathan Dahlen easily spun Anders Grönlund shooting between Dichow’s legs.

Just six minutes later, he sent Anton Wedin 2-0 behind the shadowed Frolanda goalkeeper.

– I think we rode that wave (goal 1-0) the whole period. Feels like we are everywhere there. Really good period, says Dahlén to C More.

Frolunda coach Roger Ronberg was as disappointed as Dahlen after 20 minutes:

– terribly disappointed. It is unwise how to play badly, especially with the puck. He is surprised and interestingly bad.
