Kristianstad and Tingrid will resume the match at Hockeyallsvenskan on Sunday.
Both teams have been informed that they may not add any new players to the squad from the canceled match.
– It’s very difficult, given the injury situation, we can play with a maximum of twelve players, says Tingsryd coach Frederik Gladir.
Kristianstad and Tingrid will play 14 minutes and 36 seconds into the third period of the game on Friday, October 28th.
Clubs have been told that they are not allowed to add players who were not in the squad at that meeting.
This means that due to a strained injury situation, Tingsryd can only field a maximum of twelve players.
– I don’t feel satisfied at all. Involving twelve players increases the pressure on us, says Friedrich Glader.
“No idea what’s going on.”
Daniel Silwander, Elias Gunnarsson, Felix Olsson, Jonathan Harju, Nils Tomasson, Maximilian Eisenmenger and Daniel Orn are all unable to play due to injuries.
– We know for sure that no one will be back until Sunday anyway. That’s what we have to assume, then there may be additional absences as well, says Frederick Glader.
Tingsryd contacted Erik Ryman, Hockeyallsvenskan’s sports director, who in turn would refer the question to the Swedish Ice Hockey Association.
– We have no idea what’s going on, we just called anyway and explained the circumstances. Our position was to play this match on Sunday, of course, says Frederic Gladyer.
Important points are at stake
Kristianstad-Tingsryd was canceled Friday night, just under two weeks after someone was thrown onto the ice from the audience.
The game resumed behind closed doors at 5-1 after a stoppage of 1 hour and 40 minutes, but the teams stood on the ice and let time pass.
Then the competition committee of the Swedish Ice Hockey Federation decided to play the game from 5.24 in the third period with a score of 5-1.
Tingsryd is last in the table and comes closest from 0-9 in a dual encounter with Mora.
Kristianstad dropped to ninth in the table after nine defeats in their last 11 matches.
