Tobias Thermell is ready as the new assistant coach in Örebro.
The 45-year-old co-stars in HV71 in the SHL, but is also a cult player in Bofors’ worst competitor.
In recent seasons, he’s gained a lot of experience and knows what it takes to win, says sporting director Niklas Johansson.
Stefan Klucker has broken the contract to become the new assistant captain for Sam Hallam at Tre Kronor.
Örebro is now being replaced by Tobias Thermel, who recently co-branded the HV71 in the SHL.
Thus, the training trio is completed with coach Niklas Ericsson and full-back coach Stefan Niemann.
Tobias Thermel of Karlstad is a club icon in the historic rival Bofors, as he was a striker and coach.
Among other things, his No. 11 shirt hangs from the ceiling of the Nobel Hall in Karlskoga.

Three obvious new acquisitions
Prior to joining HV71 prior to this season, he was assistant coach for three seasons at Växjö and was involved in winning the gold medal in Sweden in 2021.
The contract between Örebro and Tobias Thermel spans two seasons.
Thus, Orebro had five different assistant coaches over the course of three seasons.
The obvious new acquisitions of Örebro for next season are Matthias Bromme (Davos), Tom Nelson (Djurgården) and William Wakeman (Vasteras).
On the losing side are Ruben Kovacs (Lausanne), Nick Ebert (the club not ready), Peter Zamorski (the club not ready), Joel Moustonen (the club not ready), Daniel Udette (the club not ready), Nick Halloran (the club not ready). Kristaps Zell (Litvinov) and Jusso Postinen (Jyväskylä).
In Örebro is the former General Manager Stefan Bengtzen of Karlskoga.
Örebro finished seventh in the Pro League and came out of the Swedish Championship quarter-finals with a 4-1 result in matches against Lulea.
