“So stupid and unnecessary”
Tottenham beat Chelsea at home.

Hakim Ziyech was expelled from the visitors, only to return one minute later, after examining the video assistant referee.
Oliver Skip’s 1-0 drive just after the break was crucial for Tottenham Hotspur in the derby at home to Chelsea.
The goal came after a furious first half in which the situation was a little different.
Ejected – allowed to play
At the end of the first match, players from both teams got into a heated argument after a midfield tackle.
Tottenham’s Emerson Royal pushed Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech in the back.
The winger responded with a jab to the shoulder which then went up to Royal’s face.
The red card was the decision on the field before referee Stuart Atwell was asked to look into the situation himself.
The card was then voided and Ziyech was allowed to return to the game.

– I wouldn’t have said anything if the red card had stayed.
Thiago Silva and Harry Kane had both previously made late tackles without Atwell taking action.
Chelsea in crisis – an injured star
Captain Kane made it 2-0 to Tottenham with just over ten minutes remaining – and made the visitors’ crisis even deeper.
It was Chelsea’s third successive loss. The team has not won since January 15 and has only scored one goal in its last six matches.
In addition, full back Thiago Silva injured his knee early in the first half and had to leave the field.
The Blues are in tenth place in the English Premier League after 24 matches. Tottenham are fighting for places in the Champions League and fourth place.
