Tre Kronor ran over Norway in the practice match

Overtime drama in the first game. Big win 5-0 in the second.

In Tre Kronor’s double international against Norway, Sweden have now emerged victorious from both meetings.

Over the past two days, Tre Kronor has gathered in Östersund to take on Norway in a double cap ahead of the upcoming World Cups in Tampere and Riga.

The first match took place on Wednesday. At that time, Sweden was in a bad position, but in the end they managed to win 4-3 after extra time.

During Thursday evening it was time for the second game. Then Tre Kronor was the last to take to the ice.

A smarter team

Just 16 seconds later, Sweden took the lead through Samuel Johansson.

The second period started almost effectively and with just a few minutes Isak Bernström made it 2-0 to Sweden, and a moment later Johansson was able to call himself a two-goal scorer after a brilliant attack when he extended Sweden’s lead to 3-0. With a minute left in the second half, Jacob De La Rose surged forward to score himself in the net as well.

But Sweden was not satisfied there. In the third and final game, it came 5-0 also by Patrick Karlqvist, which was also the final score.

– More stable today, we are a smarter team, we work hard and maintain an even level. We played with the puck much better, national team captain Sam Hallam told SVT.
