Tre Kronor’s team in the Karjala tournament – this is Sweden’s team

The first national championship of the season.

Then two goalkeepers will make their debut: Skellefteå’s Linus Söderström and Färjestad’s Karl Lindbom.

-An incredibly interesting couple of goalkeepers. Sam Hallam says: It will be very interesting to see them at Tri-Cronor.

Linus Söderström was one of the best goaltenders in the SHL last season, while Carl Lindbom held his own with Djurgården in Hockey Allsvenskan.

They have both impressed this fall and now they get a chance at Tre Kronor for the first time.

Tre Kronor plays in the Karjala Championship and meets the Czech Republic in Växjö on November 9.

– It is very special to be able to return to the Växjö and Vida Stadium and represent Tre Kronor there, says Sam Hallam, who was previously a long-time coach of Växjö.

They then travel to Tampere for a match against Switzerland on November 11, followed by a meeting with Finland the next day.

“Maybe not very current.”

Sam Hallam pointed out that many of the players present this time will not be in Switzerland in December.

-If you play this first tournament, you may not be up to speed for the second tournament (Switzerland in December). “It’s about providing good conditions, and in the third tournament, in Pierre, we will field the best possible team ever,” says Hallam.

One of the players who was selected but had to throw in the towel late due to injury was Skellefteå’s Pär Lindholm.
