Veton Berisha is ready for his birth – that’s how much Hammarby gets

Now it’s over.

According to information from Sportbladet, Hammarby is now selling Veton Berisha to Molde in a deal that could be worth close to SEK 40 million.

The deal is expected to become official within the next few days.

On 11 January Sportbladet was able to reveal that Hammarby had rejected Norwegian Molde’s first offer for Veton Berisha. The offer was 24 million SEK and Hammarby demanded just over 30 million SEK to sell the player. Afterwards, Nettavisen and TV2 Norway revealed that final negotiations are under way and that Berisha is only a few details away from the sale. It is now also clear that Berisha is being sold.

The final details have been approved recently

According to Sportbladets, Hammarby and Molde agreed final details regarding potential Champions League and Europa League bonuses earlier today, thus the deal was completed. Nettavisen and SportExpressen were the first to report the striker’s sale.

Berisha will also not be going to the Bajin training camp in Marbella, which the team is traveling to on Monday. Instead he will join Molde within the next few days.

Real deal deal

Berisha was recruited from Viking Stavanger to Hammarby this summer and has only had five months at the club for the 29-year-old. Hammarby only paid 16 million kroner in a money transfer for Berisha at the time, but now he’s making a real deal extra as the club now sell him. According to Sportbladet’s information, the transfer fee is expected to be close to SEK 40 million, including bonuses.
