Hayley Dodd, Evelyn Fiennes or Joanna Ritting-Canerd are the top three when the jury had their word for Damolsvenskan Player of the Month.

It was a tough period in damallsvenskan with a lot of matches. Six rounds took place during the nomination period and now the jury has selected three nominees who stood out a bit during the month of May.
Nominated players are in no particular order: Hayley Dodd – Djurgårdens IF, Come on Evelyn – Kristianstads DFF, Joanna Ritting Canried – B.K. Häcken.
All three now have the chance to be named Player of the Month by Elitfotboll Dam.
But when the jury, made up of team leaders and experts from Sportbladet, Viaplay, Elitfotboll Dam and Svenska Spel, said there were no votes yet.

Djurgården’s Hayley Dowd with her five goals was a powerful contributor to Stockholm’s impressive group of four wins in a row. The American runs over everything and is a constant threat to Damallsvenska’s defenses.
Canadian striker Evelyn Vince is a key player for Kristianstad. She scored two goals in the big win against AIK but she’s an important cog in the attack game even if she’s not the one scoring the goals. A confident player who can catch the ball but also explodes and creates chances from nothing.
Johanna Ritting Kanred is the match winner with PK Haken. The ripped exterior gives off energy and it’s noticeable to thrive in the big matches. The goal scorer against both Rosengard and Linkoping. In addition, she scored the crucial goal against Kev Orebro.
