The goalkeeper writes today, I lost my love for the sport.

“I’ve been called a lot of things but for someone to pee in my bottle, for me to drink it and then be told I can’t fight back because I’m a player… It’s crazy. That person has put me and my family at health risks and made me sick.”

Then, a clip went viral Twitter Where a supporter is seen replacing a Thompson water bottle with an identical one.

On Sunday morning, Gisley sent out a press release announcing that the incident had been reported to the police. Videos from the match will now be scanned further to try and identify the person.

He added, “We unreservedly condemn this shameful event. If the person is identified, he will be banned for life from attending Guisley matches.”

Warrington Town plays daily in the non-league, which is one step after League Two in the English league system.
