I am so grateful, says Emma Berglund, one of the three nominees for the Comeback of the Year award.
For the third year in a row, Sportbladet organizes the “Obos” party Best Allsvenskan Women’s ShoesThe best players and performances of the season will be highlighted at a party on Wednesday, November 16th.
In the coming days, Sportbladet will present the nominees in the various award categories.
Now is the time to introduce the “Back of the Year” candidates.

How was your season in your opinion?
– Good. You want a lot, but I also know that I come from seasons with serious flaws and injuries. But preparations have been good this year. And I didn’t feel like there was any turning back. I kept up a good level and contributed as much as I could. I am definitely satisfied.
In addition to Berglund, Stina Lennartsson (Linköping) and Hanna Wijk (Häcken) were nominated for the award.
Team captain in Seger’s absence
At the same time that Caroline Seeger was absent due to injury issues, Berglund took on the role of Rosengard’s champion captain. With the season’s success, the 33-year-old defender took home his seventh (!)
– I’ll definitely think about it later when the time comes. I’ve been told that only Hana Ljungberg and Marta have won many, and it’s not boring to be a part of it. I’m very proud of that, says Berglund and adds:
– But now I began to think how wonderful it would be to stand alone with as many golds.
Do you have another golden year in you?
– I really hope so. As long as you are in this club and feel that this is the goal we set, there is nothing else.
