– It’s a receipt for all the work I’ve done, says Wijk, who was nominated among other things for the Svenska Spel “Breakthrough of the Year” award.
Last year, Hammarby’s Emilia Larsson was awarded this year’s Achievement Award. Before the party “Obos Best Allsvenskan Women’s ShoesOn November 16, now is the time to highlight three new nominees who could win the prize.
One of the three candidates is Hana Wijk from Häcken. The 18-year-old also has a chance to win the Comeback of the Year award.
– Of course it feels great and I’m very happy. Wijk says it’s a receipt for all the work you’ve done during the year.
“I found the right role in Häcken”
The other two nominees for the Svenska Spel “Breakthrough of the Year” award are Hammarby’s Matilda Vinberg, 19, and Rosengård’s Bea Sprung, 17.
Feinberg was recently named to the Swedish national team, after Kosovare Aslani was injured. Bajin’s gigantic talent is surprised when she hears about the nomination.
– Fabulous! Now I was shocked. It’s so exciting to get a nomination like this, Feinberg says, it’s a big deal.
Why do you think you will be nominated?
Above all, I think I did well during the fall season, and you can see that when I was selected for the national team. I just try to be myself and do every game.
Right-back Hanna Wijk offers her perspective on why things are going so well for her in 2022.
– It’s been a good season for me. I think the season started a little worse but it became my turn during the year. I feel like I found my way to play as a linebacker, but I also found the right role in Häcken, says the 18-year-old.
“I’m already looking forward to next year”
Did things go better than expected?
Yes, but I also had expectations for this season that I would take some steps to improve. So it was fun for it to turn out that way.
What ideas do you have for the next season?
Next season, I want to take another step and try to push myself more to be as good as I can be. I am already looking forward to next year!
