Complete 8-0 World Cup premiere thrashing against Canada yesterday.
But it was tougher against Slovakia.

After Thursday’s thrilling 8-0 thrashing of Canada, hopes were high for the Junior Crowns ahead of their meeting with Slovakia.
Småkrona also won the match and clinched their second straight win in the group stage. But without persuasion.
Fired 53 rounds
Sweden started well, going 2-0 early in the first period after two powerful goals each from Theo Lindstein and yesterday’s top scorer Axel Sandin-Belica.
Slovakia then pulled back before Sweden again went to 3-1.
But then it was slow.
Slovakia was far from harmless. One of the most serious was dating Swede Dalibor Dvorescu, on a daily basis at AIK. At the same time, Småkronorna took the shots without getting rewarded. In total, Sweden shot a total of 53 shots in the match.
Slovakia will also catch up. The team tied it at 3-3 in the third period, but shortly afterwards Anton Wahlberg was able to repeat the lead and give Småkronorna the lead again. Then Sweden scored another goal in an empty net and won 5-3.

But despite this important victory, it was not. In the second half, Färjestad player Albert Wikman was sent off with a concussion. Wikman became very dizzy and had great problems getting out into the booth and then had to be led into the changing room.
The win meant Sweden cemented their first place in the group. Next up is a meeting with the Czech Republic on Sunday before finishing the group stage against Germany on Tuesday.
