The Swedish goalkeeper has signed a contract until 2025.

Just over a year after leaving FC Rosengård for Chelsea, Zećira Musović, who was on an expired contract, opted to extend her contract with the reigning champions.
I am so grateful and happy to be able to continue in such a wonderful environment. It feels good to be on my own and that feels good in my stomach. I now feel like we’re driving. I’m ready to rejoice.
Were there other options?
Of course, there were other options. I had to stand and weigh the pros and cons, and turn and turn. There were many days when I felt: What do I really want? Do Chelsea and I share the same truth?
After a conversation with coach Emma Hayes, it was clear that the club and the Swede had a similar vision. Because although the 26-year-old from Skåne had a hard time getting playing time at first, she had her chance during the winter.
The goalkeeper is a special position. It’s a mind game for the players on the field as well, but it’s more than that as a goalkeeper. To be able to check from where what the coach believes, the coach thinks what I’m doing is good, and then move on.
I’ve been getting a lot of playtime lately. Have you taken the place as the first goalkeeper now?
– I never want to talk like that. I don’t believe in that. I believe in performing every single day. It feels so good, we seem to share the same truth.
