Zlatan Ibrahimovic returns to training with Milan – a close return

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has returned to group training with AC Milan.

Italian media is now speculating that he could be eligible for a sensational comeback as early as Friday.

Then Milan plays Torino at home in the San Siro.

Ibrahimovic, via his official Twitter account, posted pictures from training at the Milanello training facility outside Milan on Tuesday.

The pictures show how the 41-year-old runs, shoots and participates in various training sessions.

According to calciomercato.com, Ibrahimovic has appeared sharp and has fully recovered from the long injury and stoppage of rehabilitation following cruciate ligament surgery 260 days ago.

Milan is going through a bit of a crisis after three consecutive defeats in Serie A and has achieved only one win in its last eight matches, including all competitions. The defending champions have fallen to sixth in the league but are level behind leaders Napoli, and access to the Champions League in the autumn is within reach.

It can be taken out in the European Championship qualifying squad

Coach Stefano Pioli last week chose not to include Ibrahimovic in the Champions League spring squad.

Milan starts the round of 16 next week against Tottenham.

Ibrahimovic needs to be matched to start with caution. The Italian media is not ruling out the possibility of him making a short appearance on Friday already.

The captain of the national team Jan Andersson has repeatedly said that Ibrahimovic in a match form is still suitable for the national team.
