– I was on vacation in Italy with the family this summer and then we had lunch, and we talked about everything between heaven and earth. He is very interested in Swedish football and its development. We have a lot to talk about there, so we sat around it for a few hours, says Anderson and adds:
– That’s the call we got, it’s now in rehab and since then we’ve only texted and it seems like everything is going well, so we’ll see.

The last time Zlatan wore the national team shirt was in the World Cup play-off match at the end of March in the match against Poland. Despite the new injury, Jan Andersson is hoping to see Ibrahimovic in the national team again.
– We didn’t say Po nor Ba. First, he should be healthy but I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets to that level again. It’s a hell of a level for this guy, says the 59-year-old national team captain.

– That’s the impression you get. I won’t rate what he does, I can only say he has an amazing skull, posture and attitude that is hard to beat and it takes things like that to go back all the way and I wouldn’t be surprised if he does.
What did you give for lunch in Italy?
– No, I was already invited because we were at his house, says Anderson with a smile.
